2011 is the European Year of Volunteering. Have you ever contemplated how good it would feel to be a volunteer? Have you ever helped the lady next door take her bags up the stairs? Have you ever hugged a tree, or planted flowers in public? Did you perhaps go camping with children or spend a year distributing medicines in Africa? The time has come for those who consider it important to stand up and be counted for a good cause to act TOGETHER! If you really believe that volunteering is important and would like to take action to express your support, join this European campaign! What you have to do: upload a picture upside down as a profile photo (or turn your profile picture upside down) from the 11th - 17th April and post “Take a look around – I did” and the following web address: http://www.holeinthewallcamps.eu/on_line_declaration/eng/ on your Facebook wall occasionally during this week.
Do this because, whatever your contribution to society is, everyone can help in their own way.
